Religion in the Middle Colonies
Delaware
In October 1739, an English minister named George Whitefield arrived in the town of Lewes. He attracted people with his worship services. He pleaded with his listeners to get in touch god. He believed that other religious leaders were cold.
New York
The colony had such a diverse population that it brought a large mix of religions that were practice in the colony.
Pennsylvania
the Quaker religion was one of the most despised groups in England, they believed that all people were equal in god's sight and allowed women to preach in public, they spoke against war e.t.c. In 1681 William Penn received a charter for Pennsylvania, he calls Pennsylvania a "Holy experiment" and wanted it to be a model for religious freedom, peace, and Christian living. Protestants, Catholics, and Jews came here to escape Persecution.

It was established on religious freedom, therefore there were many religions in the colony.
